Goals, habits, identity

Goals, habits, identity

Can you believe it’s February already!

If you are looking to still achieve those goals in 2025, these are my 3️⃣ tidbits:

1. Goal Setting

Behind the goals you set, there should be a why (your purpose), the how (your values), the what (the specific steps). If one of those elements are missing, you are likely going to have the same goal in 2026.

Tackling a goal alone means you can give up without anyone else knowing. This year, write it down and let someone you respect (like a mentor or a coach) know what your goals are. The magic that comes from chasing these goals is the evolution of you.

Journey > Destination

2. Habits

Good habits are the foundation when it comes to achieving your goals. When you take action and repeat it enough, it becomes a habit, and you no longer have to force yourself to do it. Do yourself a favour and have a read of James Clear’s book, Atomic Habits.

Consistency > Intensity

3. Identity

Who you want to be helps with those goals that you are striving for. Your identity is fluid, not fixed, so stop labelling yourself with a permanent marker!

Changing identity isn’t just about one big action. By reframing and taking small consistent actions you can slowly change your identity.

Small consistent actions > one big action
